"I followed your advice and contacted the hotel to remind them I had requested an accessible, no smoking room. The room we got had ashtrays and an odor of smoke. When we arrived late Christmas night (I checked in about 4pm but left to visit relatives and kept our luggage in our car) I decided it was too cold to get my 3 wheel scooter out of our minivan and decided to "cane it" to our room. Only our room was a heck of a long way from the elevator and had I known I would have risked frostbite and retrieved my scooter. The length I had to walk would not have been accessible for a lot of people with disabilities. I was very disappointed with our accessible room! Generally, I am happy with the Mariott Hotels we stay in and we have been at this one once or twice in the past decade and came away happy. Stan Croydon"
